How to webp to jpg
- Choose your WebP image.
- Pick JPG (smaller) or PNG (keeps transparency).
- Tap Convert and download.
Why so many images are WebP now
Websites use WebP because it's 25–35% smaller than JPG, so pages load faster. When you save one of those images, you get a .webp file, which older software, some printers and many forms don't accept.
Choose PNG if the image has a transparent background, like a logo. Choose JPG for photos.
Is it safe to upload my photo?
Your image is never uploaded. ResizeKB processes files inside your own browser using the same technology that draws images on web pages, so the photo never leaves your phone or computer. That matters for documents like passport photos, ID scans and signatures. You can even disconnect from the internet after the page loads and the tool keeps working.
Frequently asked questions
Will transparent areas stay transparent?
Yes, if you convert to PNG. JPG doesn't support transparency, so those areas become white.
